Lark to Provide Contract DNA Sequencing Services For ZymoGenetics

SEATTLE--Houston-based Lark Technologies has signed an agreement to provide ZymoGenetics here with contract DNA sequencing services. A subsidiary of Danish pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk, ZymoGenetics is dedicated to the discovery of therapeutic proteins using bioinformatics.

"This is one of our largest contract agreements and we believe it illustrates the company's capacity to support significant genomic-based research programs," commented Vincent Kazmer, Lark's president and CEO. Lark was founded in 1989 by BCM Technologies, the wholly owned technology transfer subsidiary of the Baylor College of Medicine.
