Bangalore, India-based bioinformatics company Strand Genomics has appointed Kris Venkat to its board of directors. From 1992 to 2000, Venkat was chairman and CEO of biotech company Phyton. He is currently the chairman of Morphochem, Transvivo, Automated Cell, and Sundari Enterprises and is the co-founder and chairman of Accentua Pharma and Juelich Enzyme Products, both based in Germany.
