Klaus Pohle, Juergen Dormann, Richard Roy, Aileen Alvarado-Swaisgood


Lion Bioscience has appointed Klaus Pohle, the former CFO of Schering, to its supervisory board. The company said it plans to downsize the number of supervisory board members to the legal minimum number of three after the membership of five board members expires on August 7. Pohle will then join Juergen Dormann, the existing chairman of the board and former Aventis CEO, and former Microsoft executive Richard Roy, who recently joined the supervisory board.


Nonlinear Dynamics has appointed Aileen Alvarado-Swaisgood as western regional sales manager of its US subsidiary, Nonlinear USA. Alvarado-Swaisgood joins the company from Accelrys, where she held sales management positions covering Latin America, the US and Canadian government, and the New Jersey/New York and Western regions of the US.
