Codon Devices has named Kareem Saad vice president of marketing and business development with the responsibility of directing global marketing, strategy development, and corporate collaboration activities across the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, bioenergy, and industrial chemical sectors. He will also oversee acquisition evaluation and technology in-licensing.
Saad was previously CEO of GulfStream Bioinformatics, and general manager of business development for TransMed Partners, which he founded in 2006.
NightHawk Radiology Holdings has appointed David Sankaran to senior vice president and chief financial officer. Previously Sankaran was senior vice president and chief financial officer of Accelrys.
