Iowa State Establishes Bioinformatics Program

AMES, Iowa--Iowa State University has established the Laurence H. Baker Center for Bioinformatics and Biological Statistics, which will host a PhD program in bioinformatics and computational biology. At present, the university’s Animal Science Department is seeking candidates to fill bioinformatics teaching positions and establish a joint bioinformatics/veterinary sciences research program.
