Incyte, GeneEd Partner To Offer Genomics Courses for Web-Based Training


PALO ALTO, Calif.--Incyte Genomics and GeneEd, a provider of internet-based training and education in San Francisco, are cooperating to offer genomics education courses online. As part of the deal, Incyte is making an undisclosed equity investment in GeneEd.


The two companies will collaborate on the development of genomics education programs linked to Incyte’s online database products, including a customized training course for the LifeSeq Gold database of human gene information. Initial courses will teach Incyte customers about bioinformatics and the best way to use Incyte’s database.
