Incyte, Amersham Partner to Provide Genomic Data for Microarray Research


Genomic database company Incyte Genomics of Palo Alto, Calif., and Amersham Pharmacia Biotech of Sunnyvale, Calif., recently announced an alliance to provide scientists with genomic content for microarray research.

Under the terms of the non-exclusive agreement, Amersham Pharmacia Biotech will be the first company to offer Incyte’s Easy-to-Spot pre-assembled set of non-proprietary human and mouse clones. Amersham Pharmacia Biotech will offer the sequences in a format customized for the company’s Generation III microarray products.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
