IDBS Tapped to Provide Informatics Infrastructure for Danone Research


IDBS said this week that the Center for Specialized Nutrition at Danone Research has licensed the IDBS E-WorkBook solution, which it will use to improve data accessibility, knowledge sharing, and reuse of data across its research and development units.

Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.

Other recent customers of the company include the Welsh National Center for Mental Health, which is using IDBS’ Enterprise Translational Medicine Solution to integrate clinical, biobanking, and genetic data as part of research efforts to improve understanding and treatment of mental health disorders (BI 9/14/2012).

Meanwhile, the University of Cape Town’s Drug Discovery and Development center selected IDBS’ BioBook electronic laboratory notebook to store, manage, and analyze drug metabolism and pharmacokinetic data (BI 6/15/2012), and Brussels-based UCB selected both the E-WorkBook Suite and BioBook software to meet its data management and process development needs (BI 2/17/2012).
