Spotfire has hired Ian Reid as vice president of marketing. Reid will be responsible for expanding the company’s market share in its core life sciences, energy, and semiconductor customer base, as well as driving the company’s platform into “new vertical markets,” Spotfire said in a statement. Reid most recently served as senior vice president of worldwide marketing at ATG. Prior to that, he was vice president of product, field, and channel marketing for Open Market.
