Human Mapping Group Releases EST Analysis Tool

INXTON, UK--The UK’s Human Genome Mapping Project has announced the release of Expressed Sequence Tag Analysis Tools Etc., or ESTate 5.0. The package, available through the project’s website at http://www.hgmp.mrc.ac.uk/, offers EST clustering, consensus translation (a method for prediction of the translation implied from EST consensi), and experimental tools for database searching. All programs are implemented in C and have been tested under Linux, IRIX, Solaris, and AIX.
