GVK Biosciences Expands Distributor List in Asia

GVK Biosciences said this week that it has tapped Genesis Genetics Asia to distribute its informatics database products and services to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies in Taiwan.

Sreeni Devidas, GVK Bio's vice president of business development and informatics, said in a statement that GGA would distribute its structure activity relation, biomarker, and clinical outcomes databases and also promote its information technology and data curation services.

GVK Bio's customer base includes the US Food and Drug Administration, which recently renewed its license to the company's clinical biomarker database (BI 1/18/2013).
