GenoLogics said this week that molecular diagnostics firm Genomic Health has selected its Clarity laboratory information management system to support its next-generation sequencing workflows.
GenoLogics said that Genomic Health's researchers will use Clarity to track samples and workflows and monitor sequencing results and instrument performance for Illumina and Ion Torrent technologies.
GenoLogics launched Clarity — a redesigned version of its existing LIMS software — last October to provide tools for managing sequencing data in CLIA-regulated environments and research settings. The software includes a newly designed interface and a set of preconfigured workflows for NGS and mass spectrometry instruments (BI 10/12/2012).
