GenoLogics Integrates Lab Software with ABI's SOLiD

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – GenoLogics and Applied Biosystems have struck a partnership to integrate GenoLogics' lab and data management solution with the ABI SOLiD System.

The Victoria, BC-based informatics company said on Wednesday that it will configure its Geneus lab management system, which provides sample and workflow management and automates pipelines and enables reporting, with the next-generation ABI genomic analysis system.

The company said that SOLiD customers will be able to speed up their sequencing results with a fully integrated lab and data management system.

"Our relationship will provide SOLiD System users with a single data management solution from sample submissions to results not only for their next-generation sequencing projects, but also for their other genomics research," GenoLogics VP of Product Management Sal Sanci said in a statement.

Financial and other terms of the collaboration were not disclosed.
