Interactive Supercomputing Raises Series B Financing
Interactive Supercomputing has received $11 million in new financing from current and new venture capital investors. Investor Ascent Venture Partners, a new funder, led the investor, which included Fletcher Spaght Ventures and current ISC investors Flagship Ventures, Rock Maple Venture, and Common Angels. The additional cash infusion brings ISC's total funding to $18 million.
The financing will enable ISC to extend its Star-P software into new markets and to support additional technical computing languages and libraries, according to the company.
Star-P enables scientists, engineers, and analysts to build algorithms and models on their desktops using tools such as MATLAB, Python, and R, while then running them instantly and interactively on parallel computers, often without modification.
