GeneData of Basel, Switzerland, has released GeneData Expressionist suite 3.1, which has additional capabilities for data quality assurance, management and analysis.

New features include a gene classifier system for integrating additional information on experiments and genes, multi-dimensional principal component analysis, tools for the automatic generation of reference databases, and a module for high-throughput data quality assurance for both Affymetrix GeneChip and spotted arrays.

 

Planaria Software of Seattle, Wash., has made the version 3.0 beta release of its ArgusLab molecular modeling software available at www.planaria-software.com.

 

OriginLab of Northampton, Mass., has released version 7.0 of its Origin graphing and data analysis software, offering it for $699.
