NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) — Genedata today said it has expanded a research collaboration with Serono that uses Genedata’s Screener software with high-content screening assays.
Serono began using Genedata's software in 2003. Genedata said that the expanded agreement will integrate Screener with high-content screening technology from Cellomics. It will also add an application-programming interface to the software to enable it to integrate with additional software applications.
Genedata said the agreement will help Serono more efficiently analyze and annotate the results of their screenings.
Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
