Genaissance to Integrate Advanced Visual Systems' Tool with DecoGen Engine

WALTHAM, Mass.--Advanced Visual Systems licensed its data visualization software, OpenViz, to the population genetics and informatics company Genaissance Pharmaceuticals in New Haven, Conn. Genaissance said it would integrate OpenViz into its own informatics technology platform, which it calls the DecoGen Search Engine, to enable its pharmaceutical customers to more easily analyze genetic data and link gene variability with drug response.
