GenoLogics said this week that the upcoming release of its Clarity Laboratory Information Management System will support next generation sequencing workflows and integrations for Illumina's HiSeqX Ten sequencer.
The company said that it is developing and testing new capabilities for the LIMS with researchers at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research in Sydney, Australia prior to a general release set for March 2014. In a statement, Michael Ball, GenoLogics' CEO described his firm's plans to support the HiSeqX Ten as "an obvious next step," noting that the company's software already supports other sequencers in Illumina's portfolio.
GenoLogics will provide more information about the new product at the Advances in Genome Biology & Technology meeting next month.
