Freiburg Initiative for Systems Biology to Use Genedata Software

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) — Genedata will provide the Freiburg Initiative for Systems Biology (FRISYS) with a customized data-management and -analysis system based on its Phylosopher and Expressionist systems, the company said today.

FRISYS is focused on modeling and systems analysis of signaling processes in growth and differentiation in human cells and in photosynthetic cyanobacteria, Genedata said.

Genedata’s software will be used to “investigate signaling and regulatory pathway wiring schemes in various model organisms,” Genedata said.

Financial terms of the agreement were not released.
