Financial Times: New Lion Contract to Trump Bayer Deal

Last week, Lion CEO Friedrich von Bolen told the Financial Times Deutschland that the company was in advanced talks for a contract worth more than Lion’s $125 million deal with Bayer.

“At the moment we are in discussions with companies. At least one of the deals could possibly be bigger than the Bayer deal,” von Bolen told the paper.

Lion spokeswoman Andrea Kreisselmeier confirmed the company was in negotiations with several companies and expects “one or two major deals by the end of the calendar year.”
