NEW YORK (GenomeWeb) – FactBio has signed an agreement that grants Filgen, a Japan-based distributor of life sciences products, exclusive rights to sell FactBio's products to customers in the Japanese market.
Under the terms of the agreement, Filgen will have distribution rights for two years to sell FactBio products, including its Knowledge Sharing Platform (Kusp), which offers tools for data discovery and curation, and supporting products developed for Kusp such as resource mapping and annotation capabilities.
"I am delighted to have secured this agreement with a leading distributor such as Filgen," FactBio CEO James Malone said in a statement. "They have built an excellent reputation in selling life sciences products and will be an excellent partner as we commercialize our products.”
Financial and other terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
