Euformatics Inks Southeast Asian Distribution Deals With All Eights, Biomedic

NEW YORK — Finnish bioinformatics firm Euformatics said on Friday that it has struck two separate distribution deals for its products in certain Southeast Asian markets.

Under the first, Singapore All Eights will distribute all of Euformatics products, including its Omnomics suite of interpretation and validation software for next-generation sequencing, in Malaysia. Under the second agreement, Euformatics' full product line will be distributed in Vietnam by Hanoi-based Biomedic.

Specific terms of the deals were not disclosed.

"One of our goals for 2021 was to grow our network of distributor partners globally, but particularly in Southeast Asia," Euformatics CEO Tommi Kaasalainen said in a statement.

Earlier this year, Euformatics formed distribution alliances with INSVAST for China, A&C Group for Bolivia, Peru, and Paraguay, and Síntese Biotecnologia for Brazil.
