Ensembl Mouse Genome Server, DiscoveryCenter

The updated Ensembl Mouse Genome Server has been released with a fingerprint clone-based assembly at mouse.ensembl.org.

The FPC map covers an estimated 95 percent of the genome. The release contains 15,694 confirmed genes and 35,411 predicted genes.

NetGenics has released the first version of its DiscoveryCenter software for the integration of public and proprietary data.

Researchers can use DiscoveryCenter to perform simultaneous searches across bioinformatics and cheminformatics databases.
