Dupont Selects UniConnect's LIMS to Support Plant-Based Genomics Projects

UniConnect said recently that Dupont Pioneer is using its UniFlow laboratory information management software system to support ongoing efforts to develop new plant products that have higher yields and are more resistant to pests and diseases.

According to the company, UniFlow is being used by Dupont researchers in eight locations across four continents to capture and track millions of data points for their plant-based genomics projects.

The financial details of the arrangement were not disclosed.

Other customers of UniConnect's UniFlow include Vivia Biotech, whose researchers are using the LIMS to manage patient samples and drug compounds (BI 5/27/2011).
