DuPont and Acacia Sign Profiling Deal

RICHMOND, Calif.--Acacia Biosciences and DuPont Agricultural Enterprise signed a profiling agreement to utilize Acacia's Genome Reporter Matrix, an assay-based computer modeling system that uses yeast as a miniature ecosystem, to aid in the selection and optimization of lead compounds for use in crop protection. Acacia will provide chemical and biological profiles on a class of DuPont's compounds with potential agricultural uses. The agreement is Acacia's fifth, and its second in agriculture.
