The Glimmer plugin is compatible with Geneious Pro 5.3 or higher.
SoftGenetics has released new chimerism analysis software called ChimerMarker, which "integrates the previously distinct analysis operations for initial donor/recipient compatibility and post engraftment longitudinal studies," the company said.
The software is compatible with outputs from all capillary electrophoresis platforms as well as commercially available STR and custom chemistries. It integrates sizing and allele calling with automated chimerism analysis, "eliminating the need for tedious and error-prone data transfer," SoftGenetics said.
Genomatix said this week that it will launch Mygenomatix, an analysis service for next-generation sequencing data, next month.
Through the service, customers place an order online, the company ships a preformatted disk, and the customer sends the disk back with sequencing data. Genomatix then ships the disk back to the customer with mapped sequence data. Customers also have access to the company's software and background data for further analysis.
Genomatix said that the service model addresses the security issues of cloud-based NGS analysis services "by getting the data to our computers via a hard disk shipment program."
The company said that the turnaround time is one to two weeks.
Reactome 36 is available here.
New topics include meiotic recombination and Mycobacterium tuberculosis biological processes.
Thermo Fisher Scientific has released version 10.0 of its SampleManager laboratory information management system.
The new release "improves access to data across the enterprise; delivers key business metrics to management; facilitates compliance with ISO, GLP and other regulatory requirements; and optimizes workflows and quality management," the company said.
The LIMS also includes a new Microsoft .NET development environment and new data visualization tools.
