TopHat 1.4.1 is now available.

The release addresses some issues found in version 1.4.0 including a bug fix and the addition of basic file checks for extreme cases when there are no initially unmapped reads.

Version 2.4 of the GeneMania Cytoscape plugin is now available here. The release fixes several bugs that were introduced in version 2.3.

Version 21 of the BioModels database has been released.

The release includes 68 new models and updates to several existing ones. The public version of the BioModels database now contains 409 models in the curated and 420 in the non-curated branch. Together, models comprise 130,800 species; 151,274 relationships including reactions, rate rules, events and assignment rules; and 106,210 cross-references among other updates.

Sequences for the Drosophila Genetic Reference Panel, which contains the genome structure and variation in a population of 192 fruit flies with diverse traits, are now available from the National Center for Biotechnology Information's Short Read Archives.
