This week, Bina Technologies released the Bina Annotation Platform, a new cloud-based addition to its genomic analysis product suite. According to the company, the platform provides users with access to more than 130 annotation features and lets them search, filter, and annotate their variant files rapidly — it annotates variants based on information in databases such as the Human Gene Mutation Database, ClinVar, the Catalogue of Somatic Mutations in Cancer, and others.
