Downloads and Upgrades: Alamut-HT 1.1, Ingenuity Systems

Premium

This week, Interactive Biosoftware released Alamut-HT 1.1, an upgraded version of its genomic variant annotation and interpretation software.

The release incorporates data from the Human Gene Mutation Database and the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute's Grand Opportunity Exome Sequencing Project. It also integrates external annotations in its output, and lets users filter variants by regions of interest.

Ingenuity Systems said this week that it has passed the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, HIPAA, audit.

This means, the company said, that its data center and the Ingenuity Variant Analysis tool now comply with relevant federal regulations.
