This week, Golden Helix launched SNP & Variation Suite 7.5, its software for analyzing, visualizing, and managing sequence and array-based genomic data.

The latest release offers several collapsing methods for sequence analysis, including regression-based combined multivariate and collapsing and kernel based adaptive cluster algorithms in addition to tools for importing, managing, and visualizing large sets of variant files. It also includes improved support for variant classification, insertions, and deletions.

Velvet 1.1.22 is now available here.

In this release, compilation options are now printed in the log file and a timersub macro has been added for Solaris users, among other updates.
