The ENCODE Data Coordination Center at the University of California, Santa Cruz, has released several new data tracks for the hg19 human genome browser

The new tracks include manual annotations that have been merged with evidence-based automated annotations; ChIP-seq based transcription factor binding sites; nucleosome position density maps from several cell lines; and copy number variation from Illumina's BeadChip assay and circular binary segmentation among other updates.

The National Center for Integrative Biomedical Informatics at the University of Michigan has released a new version of the MetScape plugin for Cytoscape.

MetScape 2.3 includes some changes to the graphical user interface, minor bug fixes, and support for searches by gene symbol and compound name.
