David Kulp


David Kulp, formerly vice president of bioinformatics at Affymetrix, has accepted a faculty position in the computer science department at University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where he’ll be starting a research program in bioinformatics. Kulp, who wrote the Genie gene-finding program, was vice president of bioinformatics at Neomorphic before it was acquired by Affymetrix in 2000.
