Data Unlimited Releases Starfruit DNA Lab System | GenomeWeb

GAITHERSBURG, Md.--Data Unlimited International released Starfruit DNA, a new DNA laboratory information management system with a system architecture specifically designed for clinical and forensic DNA testing. The software is based on US Department of Defense technology used by its Armed Forces Institute of Pathology to identify human remains.

Starfruit DNA integrates flow, storage, and management of data to help process and automate cases, the company said. DNA laboratories that join the Starfruit Benefits Program can acquire customized software at no extra cost.
