Common Cents Systems, Translational Software Combine Software to Support PGx Testing and Reporting

Common Cents Systems and Translational Software have signed a pact that lets the companies combine Common's Apollo laboratory information management system (ApolloLIMS) with Translational's PGX decision support system.

The combined solution, the partners said, will enable pharmacogenetics testing labs improve turnaround time, decrease errors, and make test results more relevant for clinicians. ApolloLIMS provides capabilities such as automated programmatic processes that send and receive data directly to lab testing equipment without requiring data entry by the operator. Translational's product adds data interpretation tools and also offers configurable report designs.

The financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.
