Christopher Steffen, John Hallinan


Accelrys has added Christopher Steffen to its board of directors. Steffen currently serves as chairman of electronics manufacturer Viasystems. He retired from Citicorp, where he served as vice-chairman and director, in 1996. Prior to that, Steffen held executive-level positions at Eastman Kodak, Honeywell, and Chrysler.

John Hallinan has been hired as chief financial officer for Signet Laboratories. Hallinan most recently served as interim CFO at Cambium Learning. Prior to that, he was CFO and vice president of business development at AnVil. Hallinan joins former AnVil CEO and president Richard Gill at Signet, where he is now president and CEO.
