Certara said this week that it has signed a partnership with ChemAxon that will allow it to provide its customers with access to ChemAxon’s MarvinSketch and JChem Cartridge for Oracle through its D360 solution.
Certara’s D360 is an integrated solution for querying, analyzing, and visualization scientific data used by pharmaceutical and biotech companies to access data sources for drug discovery and development. This agreement will provide D360 customers with MarvinSketch, which is a chemical structure sketching tool, and the JChem Chemistry data cartridge.
The partnership allows “[us] to seamlessly integrate and deliver other data types, such as biologic assay or preclinical safety data, with chemistry data from ChemAxon via simple queries that any user can develop,” Jonathan Feldman, Certara’s vice president of scientific informatics, said in a statement.
The financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.
