ROCKVILLE, Md.--Vanderbilt University has become the first academic subscriber to Celera Genomics' databases under a five-year agreement to license Celera's Human Gene Index, Human Genome, Drosophila Genome, and Mouse Genome databases.
The university is also the first subscriber to access Celera's database information through its web-based Celera Discovery System. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
