VizX Labs has appointed Bradley Sparks and William Hammond to its board of directors. Sparks, who was elected chairman of the board, is managing director of Sunburst Growth Ventures. Hammond is the former CEO of the Hope Heart Institute in Seattle.

TurboWorx has hired Gourish Hosangady as vice president of sales and marketing. Hosangady previously served as CEO and managing director of SAS India.

Denise Gilbert has joined the board of directors of drug discovery firm Dynavax Technologies. Gilbert, who will serve as chair of the board’s audit committee, is an independent life science consultant who previously served as CEO of Entigen, and CFO of Incyte Pharmaceuticals and Affymax.
