BioFocus to Use IDBS' Biobook for ADME Data Management

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – Galapagos division BioFocus DPI will use IDBS’ BioBook for its ADME data management needs, Guildford, UK-based IDBS said this week.
 
IDBS said in a statement that BioFocus, which provides customers with drug discovery products and services, needed an electronic data management solution to streamline processes within their ADME optimization business. It added that BioFocus would use the BioBook as an integrated data management tool, report generation system, and task and QC process manager.
 
“BioBook provides us with the flexibility to import raw data easily, perform data analysis, and prepare reports in a single application,” BioFocus Senior Director of ADMET Matthew Segall said in a statement.
 
Further terms of the alliance were not disclosed.
