NEW YORK (GenomeWeb) – BioDiscovery announced on Thursday that it has signed an exclusive distribution deal for its products in China with Beijing-based Be Creative Lab.

Under the terms of the deal, Be Creative will be the exclusive reseller and distributor of BioDiscovery products in China, including the NxClinical 4.0, a software system for the interrogation of copy number, sequence variants, and allelic changes obtained from a single next-generation sequencing assay. BioDiscovery launched the software earlier this month.

Additional terms were not disclosed.

"We are extremely pleased to have Be Creative as a partner in providing China's clinical labs an easy-to-use, platform-independent system that can be integrated quickly into existing clinical labs' analytical pipelines," BioDiscovery President Soheil Shams said in a statement.
