NEW YORK (GenomeWeb) – Bina Technologies said today that it has signed a distribution agreement with Appistry that will allow the former to include runtime licenses for the latter's Genome Analysis Toolkit (GATK) and Cancer Genome Analysis (CGA) suite.
The agreement means that all of Bina's on-premises genomic analysis solutions, including the Bina Enterprise and Bina Desktop products, will be integrated with the GATK and CGA Suite, according to the company. These additions to the Bina portfolio — developed by the Broad Institute and commercialized by Appistry — will provide its customers with solutions for human exome and genome analysis as well as applications for somatic mutation detection and analysis.
"By integrating the GATK and the CGA suite into the Bina Analytics pipeline, we can offer a fully supported solution for NGS data analysis that meets the performance needs and privacy requirements of our customers," Narges Bani-Asadi, Bina's CEO, said in a statement.
Financial and other terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
