BC Platforms Forms Alliance With MedEngine

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb) – BC Platforms has entered into a strategic alliance with MedEngine, a Finnish provider of scientific research, medical communications, and medical advisory services to the pharmaceutical and healthcare technology industries.

MedEngine will integrate its research and medical knowledge into BC Platforms' analytics platform and vast stores of biobank data. This, the companies said, will allow them to offer their customers "turnkey research solutions," covering study development, research, publication, and clinical implementation of findings.

"We have chosen MedEngine as our strategic partner in service development and production because of MedEngine’s research excellence and deep understanding of customer needs. Together we can develop solutions that help turn data into meaningful knowledge," BC Platforms CEO Tero Silvola said in a statement.

"Through this partnership we have a unique opportunity to offer top-quality research services that are based on massive datasets of genomic and clinical data from BC Platform’s global network of biobanks," added MedEngine CEO Tero Ylisaukko-oja.
