Base4 Releases PharMatrix Alerts, Links Scientists and Databases to Installations

TORONTO--Base4 Bioinfor-matics has released its PharMatrix Alerts software module, which provides a link for pharmaceutical scientists to capture and share findings with colleagues. It also enables automatic search and review processes to notify teams about important developments.

According to Martin Sumner-Smith, president and CEO of Base4, "While PharMatrix provides an ideal real-time collaborative and information archive, the new PharMatrix Alerts module further simplifies both team notification and information capture."

PharMatrix Alerts is compatible with major browser interfaces, enabling scientists to capture research results, share them with team members, and add them to specific project knowledgebases, by using the browser's send function. The product also provides links to automated scientific database searches. It supports most relational database management systems.
