Bacterial Genomics Firm Era7 Bioinformatics Receives $400K Investment | GenomeWeb

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb) – Era7 Bioinformatics today announced a $400,000 investment in the firm by Comercial Rafer to help accelerate the international expansion of the company.

Era7, which is based in Spain, said that it specifically wants to expand its operations in the US, where it has a subsidiary headquartered in Cambridge, Mass. It and Comercial Rafer have also reached a distribution agreement for Era7's services covering Spain and Portugal, Era7 CEO Eduardo Pareja said in a statement.
