GVK Biosciences said this week that Japanese pharmaceutical company Astellas has renewed its license to the GVK Bio Structure Activity Relationship database, known as GOSTAR.
GOSTAR provides SAR, ADME, toxicity, preclinical, clinical, and structure information on compounds in the discovery and development stages as well as drugs that are currently on in the market.
The database currently includes information on more than 5.1 million compounds and 16.7 million SAR points.
GVK Bio is part of the GVK group, which provides contract research services in multiple industries, including infrastructure, manufacturing, life sciences, and the financial markets.
GVK Bio provides discovery services in chemistry, biology, and informatics; and development services for clinical research, clinical pharmacology, and process research and development to pharma and biotechnology companies.
