Ariadne's European Facility Will Be Located in Madrid, Spain

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) — Ariadne Genomics on June 1 opened an office in Madrid to manage European sales and marketing and to support and train clients, a company official confirmed today.

The company yesterday said it plans to open an office in Europe but did not say where.

It is currently hiring sales and support staff for the office. Also, it plans to relocate a US-based lead-application scientist to the new facility, after which time that facility itself will be moved, company spokeswoman Natalia Alexandrova said in an e-mail.

Ariadne also said that former Integromics CEO Olivier Brun will run the European operations.
