NEW YORK (GenomeWeb) – Amplion and SolveBio announced a partnership this week to distribute Amplion's knowledgebase of clinically validated biomarkers called BiomarkerBase.
SolveBio said in a blog post that it will use its expertise in data integration, normalization, and delivery to distribute BiomarkerBase data to diagnostic providers and R&D organizations. It added that clinical and research laboratories will be able to leverage its technology for indexing clinical genomic data to rapidly integrate BiomarkerBase into applications and workflows.
Financial and other terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Based in New York, SolveBio provides data infrastructure for genomics. Amplion is based in Bend,Oregon and informs "strategic decisions involving the commercial use of molecular biomarkers," according to its website.
