Amersham Pharmacia Gets NHGRI Grant for Genomic Technology Development



UNNYVALE, Calif.--Amersham Pharmacia Biotech has been awarded a grant by the US National Human Genome Research Institute under a new program called Advanced Development of Genomic Technologies that is emphasizing DNA sequencing technologies. Amersham will work with researchers from Northeastern University in Boston and Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis to develop a new generation of DNA sequencers.
