Huntsman Wins $7.5M Cancer Center Renewal | GenomeWeb

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – The National Cancer Institute has renewed the University of Utah's Huntsman Cancer Institute as an NCI Cancer Center, which includes $7.5 million in funding over five years, HCI said this week.

HCI received the extension after a scientific review and evaluation process that considered the impact of the center's research, the availability of research and patient care facilities, the scientific leadership, collaborations, and the translation of science to clinical care.
