CombiMatrix said that it has appointed Chris Emery as the COO of its subsidiary, CombiMatrix Molecular Diagnostics. The company has also named Lony Lim as the subsidiary's vice president of operations.

Emery previously served as vice president of sales and marketing at diagnostics firm Response Genetics. He holds an MBA from Pepperdine University.

Lim formerly was director of scientific affairs, director of flow cytometry, and director of anatomic pathology at US Labs. He holds a BS and PhD from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
